Enistic have a range of energy auditing equipment.  For SMEs, the most approriate product to start with is:

  1. The Enistic Energy Audit Kit - a simple 7 socket kit that looks at energy use of office IT equipment.

Other equipment is available for monitoring air conditioning, lighting, chillers, motors etc but the above product is a good place to start as it is very simple to install and portable, so you can use it on a variety of different equipment.

The 5 way Smart Sockets, feed information back to either the online system 'The Enistic Energy Manager Online System' or to the desktop program 'Energy Manager Lite' which allows you to get an instant handle on your energy use

 

Fit energy saving equipment

From the Enistic Energy Manager, you can click a button and get a report from your system to get a monthly report of your energy use.  Once you know the state of play, there is normally a clear saving to be made using our four main energy saving products which when used together we call "Active Energy Management":

  1. Powerdown Strip - a simple device that turns off peripheral desktop IT equipment (such as monitors, printers etc) once the main PC turns off.
  2. Powerdown Screensaver - which turns PCs off overnight if they are left on.  It allows for IT updates and patches overnight.
  3. 5 way Smart Sockets - these have built in switches and can be turned off overnight if the equipment is not being used.
  4. Enistic Energy Manager - the software package that lets you zoom in and see your energy use.
