There are many times when you require the ability to analyse your energy use in more detail. Maybe you would like to identify the major energy hogs, perhaps you would like to record your energy consumption before and after an energy improvement programme to compare the two, or maybe you just want more detail about what is going on with trends and ongoing analysis. In all of these scenarios, having effective reporting and analysis software is essential in optimising your energy reductions.

Enistic offers various Energy Manager software packages (click here for an overview of the reporting, analytics and active energy management features of our software) to allow you to do this, including an online solution and desktop software. The features of each are summarised on the next tab.

Enistic Energy Manager is available in four different versions - the desktop software has two levels: Lite and Pro. There are also two online versions: Energy Manager Online and Energy Manager Enterprise Edition. The differences are summarised in the table below, but please do call one of our energy experts on 0844 875 1600 if you would like more guidance on the best solution for you.

Further Information

The desktop software offers the following features:

Main graphing screen This is the main overview screen which lists the meters and sockets you are monitoring on the left, and shows a real-time graphical representation of the figures. The Enistic system works on a ten-second reporting interval, so the data you see is continuously updated every ten seconds.

Clicking on the Controllers tab will give you a list of all the controllers on your system, with their serial numbers, model details and last reading. There is no limit to the number of controllers you can have.

Controllers screen
Meters screen The meters screen shows you a list of all the meters and smart sockets in your system. It is easy to rename any of these in order to highlight which is measuring the power used by a particular piece of equipment or workstation. New sockets and meters are automatically detected and added, so you will not normally need to do any configuration in order to get the system reporting.

This screen gives access to the history of all the sockets and meters in your system.

The historical data includes power, energy, cost, CO2 and categorisation information, and there is a menu option to export this data to Excel for more in-depth analysis (this feature is not available in the Lite version).

History screen
Debug information

The debug screen shows in detail the communications between the Smart Energy Controllers and the sockets and meters.

This is useful for troubleshooting the system.

The settings screen allows you to enter details of the cost of your electricity.

The system supports three tariff bands - Day, Night and Weekend.

It also allows you to adjust your CO2 production figures, which you can reduce by moving to a lower carbon emission tariff from your supplier.
