The Energy Audit Kit is a simple to operate energy auditing system that works straight out of the box. It is ideal for people who want to get an accurate, detailed view on their energy consumption in a home, business or education environment. Data is collectedfrom each of the Smart Sockets every 10 seconds and sent to the Zone Controller (included) which then send the information to the Enistic Energy Manager Online. The data can then be displayed in numerous different ways and reports generated showing the either energy consumed, money spent or carbon produced. The equipment uses meter grade energy measuring circuits to ensure the results are penny perfect.
What is in the box?

The Energy Manager records all the energy data that comes from the Smart Strips, and can display it both numerically and graphically. It is also used to manage the devices switching on and off times. |

How can it be used in the office?
For the first time, you now have the power to show people their energy use on an individual or departmental basis. This means that corporate energy reduction schemes that are sometimes impersonal and remote can now be made personal and local to the individuals concerned. This leads to a greater sense of responsibility and ownership for your staff members and greatly helps with the complicated process of affecting behavioural change within your organisation.
With daily personal reports about how each individual and department is doing against their targets, a greater degree of change and personal ownership of the energy saving targets can be affected with minimal managerial input.
How does it work?
The supplied Smart Strip replaces any standard four way gang socket, and is plugged into any spare power point. Any electronic devices such as PC’s, printers and vending machines can be plugged into the Smart Strip to be monitored and managed by the Energy Manager software. A wireless system, the Smart Strips communicate with each other and with the Zone Controller which is supplied in the kit. The system comes pre-configured to automatically detect the Smart Strips you are using and begins to record / display the power they are consuming in a real time manner on a secure, hosted website. To demonstrate the system in operation, turn on any of the equipment plugged into the Smart Strips and the graphs show the increased energy use immediately.
What are the benefits?
Enistic system not only allows remote, automated shut down of electrical appliances, but also highlights areas where the energy usage is high and where some appliances are less efficient than others. This allows management to highlight and address specific areas to improve. The data generated by the Energy Manager allows a greater understanding of what energy is used and which appliances use it, allowing action to take place either to remove or replace the devices which cost the most to run. A long term, easily manageable energy saving device, which not only reduces an organisations carbon footprint but allows less time and money to be spent on energy reduction schemes.
